Your guide to a kid-friendly city
The KIND “Better Than Ice Cream” truck will be in Seattle on Sunday, July 17 (2022) to celebrate National Ice Cream Day.
Interestingly, KIND doesn’t actually make ice cream. Its frozen bars are fully plant-based.
KIND says its dairy-free frozen bars are “insanely delicious.” Flavors include dark chocolate almond sea salt and nut, peanut butter dark chocolate nut, and their newest creation, mint chocolate almond.
The truck will be in Westlake Park, 401 Pine St. in downtown Seattle. The hours will be roughly noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, the KIND folks tell us.
They’ll also be at Centralia College that weekend on Saturday, July 16.
In addition, the first 717 visitors (July 17 … 7/17 … see what they did there?) will receive a free succulent plant in honor of KIND’s plant-based products. For more family friendly things to do, news, events and travel, sign up for Seattle's Child newslettersSign Up
